Portfolio Project # 8

Having made a rough draft of my storyboard and a general idea of what my film is going to look like, I wanted to now discuss where my film is going to take place. Since a murder scene isn't restricted to an set place I had creative freedom to film wherever I felt fit.

For the majority of the film it is going to take place inside my home for it is easy to access and I feel it will fit the film well. The opening scene of my film is going to take place inside my home with a multitude of different shots of the murder victim with whom was murdered inside "her" home. The second scene is then going to be a close up of the phone being picked up by the protagonist which will most likely take place either at my desk in my bedroom or my mom's in her bedroom. The third scene is then going to be the only scene that starts outside the house so far with the characters walking from the front yard to inside the home where the crime scene is. The remainder of the scenes that I have planned are going to take place inside the home since they are inspecting the murder victim before showing the title screen. However, I still have not decided what I want my final scene to be after the title screen, and certainly do not know where I want it to take place. I have struggled thinking of what I want this scene to be and am not entirely sure what direction I want this film to go in. I am having major creative block when it comes to this scene and I hope after some more research and time I will have some ideas flowing.
